We run a property company and use the web as our main tool for finding clients. Our first attempt at using a web designer was a lesson in how not to pick a designer. The designer seemed to be in a world of his own. As a result, out of frustration, we ended up building our own site, and although it works well, it does not have a professional look and feel. The business has moved on. I came across Ed by accident, like all the best finds. I admired another site, and was able to track the designer down.

What strikes me about Ed is his plain speaking and patience! He is also very good at turning a brief into reality within an agreed timeframe. His designer colleague was also able to produce the exact logo I wanted for the new site, in fact all three draft logos would have worked. The overall look and feel is fantastic. Ed also knew we were using a new platform (Word Press) and was extremely patient with all our questions, and the queries that came up, as we got further into the project. The result is a site that was indexed by Google in days, and we are already getting enquiries! You cannot do better than that.

I must also say that Ed goes beyond what he has to do. The little touches were appreciated. Such as improving the layout of the homepage -unasked and kindly putting notices up on empty pages indicating the content was under review. I will be using Ed and his team for more sites in the future, and cannot recommend him highly enough. I am really a very happy client.

Sleepy Hollow Smokehouse are a small family run traditional smokehouse, smoking Salmon and Haddock using pure and simple traditional methods to produce a unique flavour.

Nestled in Sleepy Hollow they work from a 300 year old crofters cottage situated on the shores of Loch Ewe, framed by the Torridon mountains to the south and the outer Islands of Harris & Lewis out to the West.

We recently completed a Usability Review for Amber Installations. They are a Borders based bathrooms and joinery business who were looking for a second opinion on their website.
