Accessibility Statement
Web Man Walking is committed to making its website accessible to all visitors. If you have any comments or suggestions for improvement, please contact us.
We have taken into consideration all of the common, as well as most of the uncommon, best practices for making a website accessible. These practices include, but are not limited to:
- We make sure to provide appropriate alternate text for images. Content images provide equivalent "alt" tags, and complex images include the "longdesc" attributes to help communicate the content of the images.
- Careful consideration of colour blindness with regards to visual design and colour selection.
- While use of JavaScript does provide an enhanced experience, all content of our website is accessible with JavaScript disabled.
- Careful consideration and understanding of the user experience with non-traditional browsers including text-only browsers and screen readers.
- Links include "title" attributes where the text of the link doesn't adequately describe the target of the link.
- When possible, links are created to make sense out of context for browsers (such as JAWS, Lynx, Opera, etc.).
- Acronyms and abbreviations include "title" attributes to explain their meaning.
- Tables are created so that they are conveniently accessible by screen readers and communicate the information in an equivalently easy to understand method.
