Web Man Walking is a web design and usability company founded by web designer/developer and usability consultant, Ed Henderson.
Web Man Walking will design and build your website and can provide a usability review on your existing website if you have one. Our methodology ensures that we work closely with you to create a website that best captures your companies profile. We develop and build attractive websites that account for speed, file size, readability and accessibility - using Web Standards. And we will ensure your website ranks well on the major search engines.

Our Philosophy
Make it useable, easy to understand and attractive. Simple designs are easier to use, easier to understand, more intuitive, load faster, and more maintainable than their flashy, image laden counterparts. Our work has already proven that simplicity doesn't have to look cheap or be plain.

How Can We Help You?
- We have many years experience in web design which has allowed us to explore all aspects of the Internet. This means we are able to assist in every stage of creating your online presence. From consultation and design, to setting up email, configuring web space and developing marketing ideas.
- We try to avoid
technical jargon
as much as possible. We can explain everything along the way and explain the technology used as little or as much as you want. We won't sell you something you don't need. - We have done a vast range of sites, from the small local business to much larger companies, we understand that their needs and goals are different and this is reflected in the proposal. We will however suggest possible future ideas to bring your sites forward, that perhaps you hadn't thought of or didn't know were possible to help give your site the edge.
- We take pride in making all sites unique, we do not work from templates (which a lot of design companies do) so all sites are built entirely from scratch complimenting your current brand/image if you have one, or my unique ideas if you don't.
- We can be contacted anytime. You will be kept up to date in every stage of the development process. Even when the project is over, contact doesn't stop, we are on hand for any questions that might come up for the life of the site.
- We don't just build you a website. We work with you to understand how the web can benefit your business over the long term. Because we deliver excellent solutions and provide a friendly and responsive service our clients stay with us.
- While we excel at what we do, we keep our overheads low which means we don't have to charge top rates.

Web Man Walking is built on a foundation of web standards, we believe in web standards set by the W3C - valid, structured code to produce pages that will look great on modern browsers yet still functional and useable on older ones. Utilising web standards leads to real results:
